Mauro Icardi’s strike in Inter’s 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven made him the first player in history to score in all of his first three home games in the Champions League sports analytics company Opta have highlighted.

The 25-year-old Argentine striker scored four goals over the course of his first six Champions League games in total but will have to wait until at least next season in order to try and add to that tally with Inter now out of the competition for this season.
