Inter winger Matteo Politano spoke on Inter’s gut-wrenching elimination from the Champions League with their 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven not enough to secure their passage in to the knockout stage.
“It hurts so much. We knew it would be a difficult match and that PSV would come here to play their game. We are disappointed especially for our fans who even today have given us an important boost. Football is just like this, there are games that you dominate and do not win while in other games you do badly and win,” he said in an interview with UEFA.com.
