Turin based newspaper Tuttosport have analysed Radja Nainggolan’s injured plagued spell at Inter so far.

“He had to be the man to give Inter the leap in quality in the Champions League but he had to watch the early exit from the competition from the bench. Nainggolan was the biggest absentee of the decisive match and more generally speaking he has left a lower than expected mark on the group.

“Strongly wanted by Spalletti at Inter to transfer the experience accumulated with Roma, the Belgian midfielder has had to surrender to a succession of injuries. It is a situation that has inevitably raised some doubts about the opportunity to bet on the 30-year-old Nainggolan.

“Now Nainggolan will only be able to help Inter finish in the top four in the league to confirm themselves in the Champions League.”

Nainggolan has made 13 appearances to date since his arrival in the summer in which he has scored three goals and tallied no assists.
