During a post-match interview with Sky Sport, Udinese attacker Rodrigo de Paul was quizzed on the recent transfer rumours linking him with a move to Inter.

“Would I like to play for Inter? Well, everyone knows that San Siro is a historic stadium but I am focused on Udinese. We have three difficult games ahead of us against teams that have the same goal as us, so I can not think of the transfer market now. I’m one of the leaders of this group and I can’t help but think about the Frosinone game.

“I could have left in the summer transfer window but I stayed and I renewed instead. We started a project and I’m sure the results will come. I want to think only game after game and then in the summer we will evaluate everything.”

The 24-year-old has made 17 appearances across all competitions this season and has scored six goals and tallied three assists.
