Mauro Icardi spoke after Inter’s 1-0 victory over Udinese in which he scored the winning goal with a cheeky chip from the penalty spot.

“We wanted to give a signal after the game on Tuesday which we are sorry for but in the league we are there. We can take a look at those that are in front of us and we will try to do our best. We can forget our European disappointment  by winning games and trying to finish the year in the best way possible,” he told Sky Sport at the full-time whistle.

He then went on to speak about his wife and agent Wanda Icardi’s recent comments with regard to renewing his contract with the club.

“I do all my talking on the field and the other things do not concern me. I am calm, quiet and I will sign when they tell me to do it.”
