Sime Vrsaljko reflected upon Inter’s 1-0 win over Udinese and spoke on his personal situation having been bothered with injuries since arriving in the summer.

“I am very happy. We won a very difficult game against an opponent who was always looking for a counter-attack. Every game, I have room for improvement and I try to get involved when I can. After the World Cup I had problems with my knee but I am fine now. What I need is continuity but the important thing is that we go forward together. I did not spend pre-season with the team but that is only an excuse. I have to try to get busy and bring Inter back where it deserves.

“We have created a lot of chances and played well. We just needed to score and then finally this penalty came and let us take the three points. We are aware of our strength and we have to continue like this.”
