Inter and Rapid Wien are to meet for the first time since the in 28 years having been drawn against one another in the Europa League round of 32 draw earlier today, Opta have highlighted.
They last met in the first round of the Europa League’s predecessor the UEFA Cup during the 1990/91 season. The Austrian’s ran out 2-1 winners in the first leg but Inter hit back and won 3-1 in the second leg to progress to the second round 4-3 on aggregate.
