Former Parma player Paolo De Ceglie recalled scoring twice against Inter during his time with the Ducali in an interview with renowned journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, gianlucadimarzio.com.

“I still remember the two goals against Inter, as well as the months spent there. I suffered less since I was playing in Parma thanks to a loan deal, but I was still very upset with what went down, because we are talking about a group of very talented players who unjustly got relegated from the Serie A.

“It was a real pity for football and for Parma, a club that deserves every fortune. I am very happy what they have done after the relegation, they deserve to be on the biggest of stages and winning three championships in a row to get there is a huge achievement.”

The 32-year-old defender is currently without a club having last played in Switzerland with Servette.
