Inter and Milan Skriniar are to soon holds further talks over a new contract according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Initial negotiations took place in the summer and could be set to take off again at the beginning of the new year. The Slovakian is currently under contract until the end of the 2021/22 season but his €1.2 million salary inclusive of bonuses does not accurately reflect his worth to the team.

As per the report, Inter are ready to double his salary to €2.5 million but Skriniar’s representatives are looking for a sum closer to the €3.5 million mark. The involved parties could come to an agreement by meeting in the middle.

Skriniar has a lot of interest in his services and the report states that it would take an offer of between €75-80 million at least for Inter to sit down and discuss a possible move.

The report also states that Daniele Padelli is nearing a contract renewal until 2020 while Andrea Ranocchia is waiting for the call to initiate talks which should be considerably easier to come to an agreement in than the talks between Inter and Skriniar.
