The strategy of signing players on a free transfer continues, with Inter practically having assured the arrival of Diego Godin at the end of June, with the club also being interested in other players such as Martial and Valencia.
According to FcInterNews the latest suggestion for the Nerazzurri concerns that of Bayern Munich’s Arjen Robben, who was offered to the club by his entourage. The club’s management is thinking about a possible bargain with a free transfer of a not so young player who was born in 1984 but with an indisputable talent.
Robben has been at Bayern since 2009 and would bring a wealth of experience to the Inter locker room. He has notched up 98 goals in 198 league appearances for the Bavarian club and was equally as effective at previous clubs Real Madrid and Chelsea.
If he was to join Inter on a free transfer it would be the latest in a new trend that started with De Vrij and Asamoah this summer and looks set to continue with the possible arrival of Diego Godin.
