The father and agent of Sampdoria’s former Danish U21 international central defender Joachim Andersen, confirms that interest is rife in his son/client from the top 6 clubs in the Serie A.
Speaking to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Jacob Andersen confirmed that there is interest in his son both from clubs in Italy as well as from the Premier League, without revealing the clubs in question.
“I have had a few meetings regarding the transfer window. Joachim is of interest not just to the top 6 clubs in Italy but in England too. I don’t think that anything will happen this transfer window and Joachim is not thinking about this either, he is happy at the club he finds himself at.”
“However, we are available should any big club ask for a meeting” Andersen senior concluded.
Andersen has been rumoured to be top of Inter’s list should Brazilian Joao Miranda leave the club during this transfer window.
