Joachim Andersen has welcomed the alleged interest in his services while meanwhile affirming his commitment to Sampdoria.
“It is nice that other clubs are interested in me but for now I think only about playing well here, where I am happy,” the Danish central defender, who has drawn links to Inter among others, said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
Andersen has also drawn comparisons to former Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar, who is now starring for Inter and attracting interest from some of the top clubs on the planet.
“I have read and heard about this comparison so many times and it does not bother me but I am my own player. I do understand the comparison though he did not play like me at the beginning but now he is continuing to grow. He is becoming a great player and I hope I can follow the same path too.”
