In the coming days Inter are likely to meet with officials from Empoli to hold discussions over a transfer involving Azzurri midfielder Hamed Junior Traore as per a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
The 18-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of the Nerazzurri side with his performances this season and in the meeting Inter wish to find out if a move for the Ivorian youngster is plausible or not.
Traore is a product of the Empoli youth academy and is in the midst of his breakthrough season with the Stadio Carlo Castellani club.
Promoted to the first team in the Summer of 2017 ahead of the 2017/18 season, Traore has made 27 senior appearances for the Tuscany based outfit, 17 of which have arrived this season. In just shy of 1000 minutes this season, the youngster, who is under contract with the club through to the Summer of 2022, has yet to score a goal but he has contributed one assist.
