Corriere dello Sport today reports that there is a meeting planned in the Spring to discuss Sime Vrsaljko future at Inter with his agents Lemic and Mijatovic where they are likely to also discuss Luka Modric after they proposed him to Inter last summer.

Rumours of his departure have returned to circulation with increasing insistence because at the end of year it now seems inevitable he will look for a new experience. It remains to be seen, of course, how Florentino Perez will behave this time with regards Modric, who has decided not to renew his contract with Real Madrid, giving further substance to his intentions to leave at the end of the season.

The option of acquiring the current Balon D’Or remains a very popular one at Appiano Gentile and the cycle of this extraordinary Real Madrid is over and it is right to rely on fresh faces and it is logical therefore that Modric, 34 years old in September, is allowed to leave. Actually, Inter would also like Toni Kroos, but this is another matter entirely explains Corsport.

It is therefore a double operation for Inter in the Spring: They must spend €17.5 Million to redeem Vrsaljko and then focus on acquiring Modric.
