Brescia manager Eugenio Corini has tipped highly coveted midfielder Sandro Tonali to emulate Roma legend Daniele De Rossi.

“He will be the new Daniele De Rossi, a real team player. He does not seem like he is just 18-years-old due to the way in which he deals with difficulties,” Corini told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He must stay focused on the task at hand and I hope he has a more important career than mine and goes to the national team.”

Tonali is widely regarded as one of not only the best Italian prospects but one of the best prospects in world football in general.

The youngster, who has drawn comparisons to Andrea Pirlo, has attracted interest from a whole host of top clubs including Inter, who are vying for his signature with the likes of Chelsea among others.

This season he has made 17 appearances across all competitions where he has contributed one goal and five assists  in just shy of 1500 minutes of action.
