Long awaited and much anticipated contract talks between Inter and Mauro Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Icardi are to take place tomorrow a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport confirms.
There has been a lot of mystery in recent days as to when talks between the parties would be continues but tomorrow is the day.
It will be the first opportunity for all parties involved to re-discuss the terms of Inter’s last offer of €6 million per season which was made – and rejected – in recent months.
Recent media reports have speculated that Wanda is looking for her client to be given a salary in the region of €9 million per season plus bonuses in order to his salary in line with some of the other top stars in Italy.
This season Icardi has made 23 appearances across all competitions and has netted 14 goals in that time as well as tallying a total of three assists in the 1894 minutes he has played.
