Luka Modric is growing increasingly distant from Real Madrid and with Los Blancos set to make some big moves in the Summer, it opens up the possibility for Modric to move on according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Spanish side, where Modric has spent the past six and a half years, have set their sights on Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Modric was a transfer target for Inter back in the Summer but a move did not come to fruition due to Real president Florentino Perez. Perez refused to let the Croatian leave the club as he wished to sign him to a new and improved contract.

The 2018 Balon d’Or winner has refused contract talks with the club though and remains of interest to Inter who could make another swoop for him come the Summer time when they are free from the constraints of the settlement agreement.
