New year but the same Inter we are used to seeing in January, is how the goalless draw in the Serie A against Sassuolo can best be summarized in front of 11,000 children at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Sassuolo started the match really well and where the better team throughout the whole match, as the Neroverdi contained Inter in the first half via primarily a great midfield performance by former Nerazzurri midfielder Alfred Duncan, and pressed to win the match in the second half.
The Nerazzurri looked better in the middle of the first half and towards the end when Lautaro Martinez came on but it was too little too late in a match that ended in a draw.
