Former Inter defender Francesco Colonnese has been left unconvinced by Inter’s performance in yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Sassuolo going so far as to describe it as a setback.
“Inter did not have a great game but the result was a positive one because Sassuolo deserved the victory,” he remarked in an interview with Radio Sportiva.
“I was sorry not to see what we saw before the break from Inter and it was a bad setback. Mauro Icardi did nothing, neither did Ivan Perisic. Inter’s most positive player was Matteo Politano. Inter’s midfield never managed to hurt Sassuolo and I saw a really subdued team.”
