Sassuolo chief executive Giovanni Carnevali has addressed the recent media speculation concerning the futures of midfielder Stefano Sensi and Alfred Duncan with the club.
He firstly spoke on Sensi who is understood to have drawn interest from Spanish giants Barcelona recently.
“We talked about many things with them. It is normal that there might be interest in some of our guys. Barca have come to the MAPEI Stadium several times to see our team. He has offers from both Italian and foreign teams.”
Carnevali then spoke on Duncan and he focused particularly on the interest from Milan although many reports have also stated that Inter are keen on the Ghanaian. He also spoke on the club’s desire to hold on to them.
“There is not only Milan interested him but also other clubs too. We want to keep them with us at least until June to ensure that Sassuolo finishes the season in the best way possible.”
