Former Inter and Roma striker Pedro Manfredini has died aged 84.

Having moved to Roma in 1959 from Racing Club in his native Argentina, Manfredini went on to spend the next six years with the Giallorossi where he would score 104 goals in 164 appearances.

A 30-year-old Manfredini joined Inter in 1965 while Inter were reigning European champions but he did not get a chance to impress for Inter as he was loaned out firstly to Brescia and then to Venice where he would end his career in 1968.

Manfredini made three appearances for the Argentine national team in which he scored two goals and was part of the team that won the Copa America in 1959.
