Inter are focusing on three names in particular to improve the midfield according to a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The three names in question are those of Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella and Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.
Modric wishes to leave Los Blancos in the Summer having failed to do so in the past Summer when Inter came knocking with the Balon d’Or winner maintaining his desire to test himself in Italy.
As for Barella, it is absolutely no secret that the Nerazzurri are interested in signing him. Cagliari’s current demands – believed to be around €50 million – make a deal difficult to come by at the moment due to Inter’s current financial situation. Inter are not alone in chasing him and face competition from Manchester United and Napoli for his signature.
Finally, Inter are gearing themselves up to make a move for Tonali. The Italian youngster is very highly rated and has interest in his services from many Italian clubs and top clubs outside of Italy.
