Inter have made an official offer for Portuguese international full-back Cedric Soares to Premier League outfit Southampton according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
According to the report, Inter have officially presented the Saints with an offer of a loan with an option to buy and are waiting for the Premier League club’s response. In the meantime, the Nerazzurri, have already agreed terms with the player which makes them rather confident to be able to agree terms with the club as well.
Inter’s interest in Manchester United’s Italian full-back Matteo Darmian has cooled off due to the high asking price set by the club. Sky Sport Italia report that the Nerazzurri met with the player’s agent, Tullio Tinto earlier this afternoon to see if Manchester United were prepared to lower their asking price.
Inter intend to keep Darmian as a back up should the Soares deal go south but currently that is unlikely as the Portuguese international is edging closer to Inter.
