Inter are working towards loaning Premier League outfit Southampton’s Portuguese international full-back Cedric Soares Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
According to the report, new contacts have taken place between the parties which have been very positive. The clubs and the player’s agent are currently discussing the formula of the deal, with a loan with an option to buy, being currently the most probable outcome.
The negotiations are going so well that Di Marzio believes that they could soon be concluded, which means that the Portuguese EURO 2016 winner, could soon finalize the move to Inter and the Serie A before the end of this week.
Soares has featured 18 times in the Premier League this season for Southampton scoring once and making two assists. In total, since joining Southampton in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of €6,4 million, Soares has featured 112 times across all competitions for the Saints getting on the score sheet twice.
