Sassuolo have made an enquiry to Inter about the availability of Inter Primavera talent Edoardo Vergani according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The 17-year-old has been with Inter since 2014 and has progressed through to the Primavera where he has now been for six months.

The young striker has however struggled for regular game time under Primavera manager Armando Madonna this season, starting just one game all season and making six appearances in total across all competitions for a mere total of 142 minutes.

As per the report, Inter have not shut the idea of a possible sale down to the Neroverdi but would be unwilling to deal the youngster without one important clause in the deal, that important clause being a buyback option.

Buyback option’s have been increasingly used by Inter in recent years as they have had to sell on lots of promising talents in order to meet their Financial Fair Play requirements.
