LaLazioSiamoNoi.it asked Luigi ‘Gigi’ Simoni for a prediction for tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia quarter final between Inter and Lazio but the former Inter and Lazio manager was unable to separate the two sides.
“Lazio and Inter share many things in common with the main one being that they both lack consistency,” Simoni, who lead Inter to winning the UEFA Cup in 1997/98 in his sole season in charge, said.
“Inzaghi and Spalletti’s respective sides have shown moments of emptiness during the season with some of their performances. Even if the Nerazzurri are more organically complete, it is still hard to say who will have the best night tomorrow.”
Tomorrow night’s game is scheduled for a 19:00 CET kick-off and the winner of the tie – due to be played at San Siro – will face Milan, who overcame Napoli last night with thanks to a brace from new boy Krzysztof Piatek to secure their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
