Daniele Adani has given his thoughts on the current situation of Ivan Perisic at Inter.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta confirmed in recent weeks that Perisic wanted away amidst interest in his services from Premier League Arsenal. No deal transpired but a lot of arguably needless tension has been created.

“It is certainly not a situation that can be resolved in a short time. It will take an effort from everyone to solve it, first of all from the player himself,” Adani said in an interview with Sky Sport.

“We are talking about someone who has worn this shirt for three to four years and was ready to drop it from one day to the next. First of all, Perisic must understand what the shirt he is wearing means. It is clear that deciding to freeze him out would not be an easy decision as Perisic is someone who can decide matches.”
