Graziano Battistini, the agent of Alessio Cragno, has addressed the media speculation that has seen his client linked with a move to Inter in the future.
“The rumours about Inter? For now he must continue to prove himself as one of the the strongest goalkeepers in Italy, then we will see what happens. Only his performances on the pitch will determine if in the future he will be ready to play in a great team,” he said in an interview with CalcioMercato.it.
Despite being a small goalkeeper at just six foot tall, Cragno – who is contracted to Cagliari through to the end of the 2021/22 season – does not let that define him.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper has made 23 appearances across all competitions this season and has managed to keep five clean sheets in the process.
He is regularly involved with the Italian national team and although he is yet to be capped at senior level he has made close to 50 caps across the various youth levels.
