Had it not been for some heroics from Samir Handanovic, Inter may have been unable to push last night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio all the way to penalties.

He made a number of key saves during the game and also stopped a penalty in the penalty shootout but he ultimately could not stop Lazio from winning in the end.

Gazzetta dello Sport have absolutely no doubt that the Slovenian was Inter’s star man in the match and have given him a 7/10 rating as part of their player ratings.

Milan Skriniar was the second best performer with a 6.5 rating while debutant Cedric, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Joao Mario, Marcelo Brozovic are all tied for the third best performance with all receiving a 6/10 rating.

Miranda and Matias Vecino meanwhile got 5.5 ratings, Kwadwo Asamoah, Mauro Icardi, Matteo Politano and Lautaro Martinez all got half marks and the worst performance came from Roberto Gagliardini with a 4.5 rating.
