Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was indisputably Inter’s best player in last night’s Coppa Italia quarter final loss to Lazio in the eyes of Corriere dello Sport.
The Slovenian shot-stopper made several big saves in the match which no doubt helped push the match all the way to penalties – of which he would save one – at San Siro. The Rome based newspaper have awarded him a 7.5 rating for his exploits at San Siro as part of their player ratings for the match.
Milan Skriniar and Mauro Icardi were the second best performers with 6.5 rating’s while Danilo D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Kwadwo Asamoah, Marcelo Brozovic, Matteo Politano and Cedric are tied for third with 6/10.
Antonio Candreva got a 5.5 rating while Matias Vecino, Joao Mario and Radja Nainggolan all got half marks. Roberto Gagliardini got a 4.5 rating but was spared the blushes of being the worst performer with Lautaro Martinez getting that unwanted honour with just a 4/10 rating.
