Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera focus in today’s paper edition of the newspaper on Luciano Spalletti’s statement during yesterday’s pre match press conference.

He is asking for lucidity and fairness of judgement, he is re-establishing himself, taking a position on the many cases that have emerged in the last period, concerning the many transfer rumors that have come out), and is trying to remove all the speculation concerning Antonio Conte.”
“The fact that Conte took a walk in the center of Milan a few days ago has unleashed chaos, but Spalletti is probably right in saying: Marotta did not meet him at the Inter headquarters.”
Spalletti has, in recent times, been receiving a lot of criticism due to the fact that Inter are playing poorly and the results have shown it. There have been countless rumors about the possibility of Antonio Conte replacing Spalletti, but we will have to wait and see what happens in the near future, because one thing seems certain: Conte is not interested in taking over mid-season and would rather wait until the Summer.
