Joachim Andersen has attempted to distance himself from the continued rumours concerning his future with Sampdoria by reaffirming his commitment to the Genoa based club admitting he could play for them past this Summer.
“I am only focused on being here at Sampdoria, then I’ll see what happens this Summer. For now, nothing should happen. It is still too early. It is important that a club has a right plan for me, I also would not mind staying at Sampdoria for another season,” he told Ekstra Bladet.
The Danish central defender has been subject to interest from clubs across Europe and went on to discuss if he had any preference as to what league he would like to play in.
“My favourite League? It is hard to say. I like England, Spain and Italy. What counts above all though is the club, as they must have a good plan for me in the long term. I have to take the right steps at the right times. So, really, I don’t care whether it is Tottenham, Inter or Atletico Madrid.”
