Gazzetta dello Sport emphasises the many criticisms that Rodrigo De Paul has received after the last few matches and it is not particularly a great moment for the Argentine as he seems out of form.

In his first two years in Udine, the Argentine had not overly convinced but at the start of this season, under the guidance of Julio Velazquez, he scored five goals in the first ten matches, including four in his first five matches. All of his goals brought points for the team and one could not have expected him to maintain such form, but it was equally unthinkable that from December, he would suddenly switch off.

There are a number of critics who have been pointing out that his performances have been dropping off at the same time as the transfer market rumours circulate that he has already promised to join Inter in the Summer.

De Paul is heavily relied on by his teammates who tend to prefer to pass the ball to him, which results in so many useless touches. On Sunday the stadium was divided between whistles and applause but it’s not thought to be a serious problem.
