Keita Balde has continued to work on his recovery from injury with the hope of travelling with the squad to Parma this weekend according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
“Yesterday, the attacker rejoined group training for a bit, before returning to his personalised scheme. Today, however, the Senegalese is expected to participate in the whole session with his teammates,” their report reads.
Based on this knowledge, it’s safe to say that Keita will be called on to make the journey, but whether or not he starts is a different story, for now it seems unlikely but it’ll be a reassurance for Spalletti to have him on the bench should the attack go stale.
Matteo Politano is still suspended and Borja Valero is still in doubt after his pre-match injury against Lazio, so Spalleti remains limited with his attacking options and must do the best with what he has for now, in what has become an even more important game for the manager as Inter go through a rocky spell.
