Noted journalist Paolo Condo has reflected on Inter’s performance against Parma last night in an interview with Sky Sport wherein he was very complimentary of Inter match-winner Lautaro Martinez.
“The Nerazzurri season can be summed up through this metaphor. After starting the season, there has been this big boulder that they have had to drag uphill. Spalletti took them to the middle of the hill, but then they ended up going backwards.
“The match against Parma was decided by Lautaro Martinez, who has come on to make the difference in Serie A. He has scored some precious goals and that of Tardini is one of the most precious of the Nerazzurri season.
“I get the impression that Inter is changing their skin heavily compared to what they have been in the last few season. This team was previously made to play down the wings and cross but now with Lautaro Martinez they have the chance to play two strikers.”
