Radja Nainggolan: “I’ve Got To Repay Inter For The Support They’ve Shown Me”

Radja Nainggolan has thanked Inter for the support they have shown him in his injury ravaged brief time with the club so far after Inter’s 1-0 win away to Parma.

“We knew it would be a tough game for us but we are working with sufficient peace of mind. It remains a delicate moment and we must not think we have done it all so we have to continue working, we hope to play with greater serenity after this victory,” the Belgian midfielder said in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV post-match.

Next he spoke on his injury troubles.

“On a personal level I hope to not have many more injuries. I am doing everything to avoid them. I thank the club for being so supportive of me and making everything available to me in order to work in a personalised way. Now it is up to me to repay them.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on Inter’s participation in the Europa League that will begin on Thursday with them set to play the first leg of their tie with Rapid Vienna.

“In football victories help us to work better and now we have to continue on this path. I believe and I hope that the Europa League will become an important goal for us. The season is still long and we can not give up but it will all depend on us.”
