Borja Valero will be available to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for selection for this Thursday’s Europa League match with Rapid Vienna after recovering from injury according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Spaniard has not featured for the Nerazzurri since picking up an injury in the warm-ups prior to Inter’s match in the Coppa Italia against Lazio.
With Marcelo Brozovic missing through suspension and Roberto Gagliardini and Joao Mario not on the UEFA squad list, Valero’s recovery is an important one for Spalletti who otherwise would have been down to the absolute bare bones in terms of midfielders he could chose from.
The report from the Rome based newspaper also brings an update on the condition of Keita Balde. The Senegalese winger has been splitting his time between individual and group work as he nears full recovery from a thigh injury and will be in at training today for some extra training while his teammates enjoy a day of rest.
