After having helped his team win the first leg in the Europa League away against Rapid Vienna, Inter’s Argentinian number 10 Lautaro Martinez, was very happy when speaking with Inter TV.
“I am happy to have scored again, we managed to find the win on a very difficult pitch. Very happy to return back to Italy with a positive result.”
Lautaro was asked how come he decided to take the penalty as the last one he missed in the shootout against Lazio in the Coppa Italia.
“One always wants to take them, I took the ball and I scored. The other time I missed, today however it went well. It is very important to have continuity, against Parma I started the match on the bench, today I started. I am ready to do everything that the coach asks me to do which helps the team.”
“Now our heads are turned to Sampdoria, which is the next match we play in front of our fans. Then we will think about the return match against Rapid.”
