Joao Mario To Replace Nainggolan In Inter Line-up To Take On Sampdoria

Having played almost the entirety of the past two games, Radja Nainggolan is nearing full match fitness but could be dropped to the bench in order to allow him to rest for this weekend’s match with Sampdoria according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Milan based newspaper claim that Joao Mario will replace the Belgian in the starting line-up and that Inter could swap to a 4-3-3 system. Roberto Gagliardini may also come in for Matias Vecino but for the time being Vecino is ahead of the Italian.

Having missed yesterday’s match with Rapid Vienna through suspension, both Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic will make a return to the starting eleven.

Lautaro Martinez will be granted his second successive start and will have Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic either side of him.

Inter predicted line-up (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Dalbert; Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Joao Mario; Matteo Politano, Lautaro Martinez, Ivan Perisic.
