A meeting involving all of Inter’s shareholders is to take place tomorrow in order to ratify the entry of new investors LionRock Capital according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The investment fund, headed by Chinese-American businessman Daniel Tseung, will be present at today’s match between Inter and Sampdoria at San Siro this evening alongside Inter club president Steven Zhang.
The Hong Kong based fund purchased a minority 31.05% share in the Nerazzurri club from Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir in recent months for a reported sum of circa €150 million.
Tseung will be incorporated in to the Inter board of directors and another high up member in the fund will also become part of the directors board as part of the latest re-shuffle following the last shareholders meeting in October when the aforementioned Zhang became the youngest president in the club’s 111 year long history at just 26 years old.
