Inter are on the hunt to find themselves a sleeve sponsor, at least according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.

While sleeve sponsors are commonplace particularly in the Premier League, it is not something seen all that often in Italy.

Back in 2016 when Inter and Pirelli renewed their shirt sponsorship agreement, the internationally renowned tyres company got exclusivity rights when it comes to shirt sponsors.

Inter, as per the report, maintain that this agreement – at least in terms of the exclusivity aspect of it – cannot stand for a sleeve sponsor. This is due to the fact that when the agreement was signed, putting a sponsor on the sleeve of the shirt was not possible.

It remains to be seen whether Inter and Pirelli will simply come to some sort of new agreement or if the Nerazzurri will search for a different brand to place on the sleeve of their shirt.
