In an exclusive interview with Sportmediaset during an event last night at the “Calcioshop” in Milano, Lautaro Martinez spoke about his so far thrilling first season in an Inter jersey.
“I am very happy. Every time the coach chooses to trust me, I grow in confidence and I want to give the maximum for me and the team. Spalletti and me, we talk everyday about personal things, he asks me to correct certain aspects of my play. I listen to him so I can improve and better understand his style of play.”
Following this, El Toro, as he is known in Argentina and now by Nerazzurri fans, gave his thoughts on the recent Mauro Icardi dilemma: “We are experiencing this situation with mixed feelings because firstly, we never expected this sort of thing to happen, but it is his responsibility to resolve it with those who were directly involved. It requires work.”
