Inter legend and current club vice-president Javier Zanetti held a question and answer session with actors from ‘O11ze’ – a football based show that is on Argentina’s Disney channel.

Among other things, Zanetti – who spent 19 years at Inter as a player – was asked about how it felt to be the club captain for a number of years and how a caption is chosen.

As captain, the Argentine lead Inter to a number of honours including many Serie A titles and captained the side to winning the famous Triplete back in the 2009/10 season.

“If I start to think of the historical players who have worn the band captain, for me it was an honour,” he said.

“The group chooses the captain because he is an example.

He continued: “I have always tried to respect my teammates and to be a guide for them, especially in times of difficulty when we must always be present.”
