Wanda Nara, the wife and agent of former Inter captain Mauro Icardi, commented on the controversial penalty decision awarded to Fiorentina against Inter as well as other episodes from the clash.
“These are two lost points that carry a lot of weight but luckily we are ahead of those who we need to be ahead of. In football there are many injustices like the penalty that was awarded or the attitude shown by Perisic or keeping Icardi at home who has given everything for Inter and now is being depicted like a monster, which he isn’t.”
“Everyone at home saw the penalty that Perisic scored but his gesture does not give calm. In order to be captain you need respect and Icardi has that for everyone and for the short, above all.”
On conclusion Antonio Cassano suggested that Icardi should maybe apologize to his teammates to resolve this issue to which Wanda vehemently reacted with tears in her eyes.
“Apologize for what? What has he done to apologize for? Enough with this bullsh*t, he goes every day into the dressing room and does his physiotherapy. This is all just a cinema.”
