Inter are weighing up a Summer move for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter have just brought Cedric in on loan with an €11 million option to make his stay permanent, Inter chief executive Giusppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are still awaiting for the Portuguese to justify this tag who has neither shone nor disappointed yet.
While Cedric attempts to convince Inter’s leadership to keep him, they are monitoring other players in the event that he fails to do so with Darmian being one of them.
It has been a difficult season for the Italian defender who was limited to just four appearances under Jose Mourinho. The change in manager has not seen an increase in playing time with him making just two appearance since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, one of which was a one minute substitute appearance.
