No team has scored more goals against Cagliari in the history of Serie A than Inter have, Opta have highlighted ahead of Friday night’s match between the two sides at the Sardegna Arena.

Inter have scored no less than 130 goals against the Sardinian outfit, over a tenth of which have come in the last four meetings between the two sides.

In the past four games, all of which Inter have ran out victorious in, they have scored 14 goals in total against the Rossoblu, an average of 3.5 goals per game.

The last time the sides met was back at the end of September last year and Inter ran out 2-0 victors at San Siro.

Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano were the scorers on the night with each of them scoring their first competitive goal in an Inter shirt since they arrived from Racing Club and Sassuolo respectively in the Summer transfer window.
