Keita Balde has made a considerable step-up in his recovery from injury in recent days and could make a return to full training alongside the rest of his Inter teammates today according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Senegalese winger has been on the sidelines since January after he sustained a thigh injury in training and he could very well be called up for this Thursday’s match in the Europa League round of 16 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

He had been called up for Inter’s squad for the recent win over Parma but the match proved to come too soon as he then did not make the match day squad itself despite travelling with the team.

The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Ligue 1 club Monaco, has made 21 appearances across all competitions this season for the Nerazzurri.

In 767 minutes on the park, Keita Balde has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
