Sky Italia reports today that there still has not been any meeting between the club officials and the rebel striker & former Captain, Mauro Icardi.
Inter’s hierarchy Giuseppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini were all present at the clubs’ training ground at Appiano Gentile this morning but they had not further updates on the situation that has developed between the club and the Argentine striker. It is thought that there will be a brief meeting of sorts before the team departs for Germany ahead of their Uefa Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night to assess the players’ fitness.
Meanwhile Inter’s on loan winger, Keita Balde, is continuing to recover well from injury and is expected to be available for first team duty soon. Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s training sessions will be crucial to see if the Senegalese player could potentially be called up to the squad that travels to Germany.
