Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport report on the possibility of Inter and Milan building a new stadium together, highlighting the fact that details need to be ironed out but the decisions will be taken soon.

“After the leaders of both clubs took some time to visit a few stadiums in the United States, it appears as though a final decision will be taken with regards to whether or not the clubs will be constructing a new stadium or simply modernizing and renovating the San Siro by March.”

“This decision will need to be communicated and coordinated with the city of Milan as this will not be an easy procedure. The determining factor could be the cost of the operation and it is important to note that choosing to demolish the Meazza is likely to cause these costs to grow exponentially.”

This could be the beginning of a new future for both clubs given the history they shared together.
