Cedric Soares spoke at the pre-match press conference ahead of Inter’s Europa League match with Eintracht Frankfurt and was firstly asked about his future with the club.
“It is a great honour to be here, Inter trusted me and I feel that within me. I will always give my best on the pitch, then at the end of the season we will see what they decide to do. If they decide to redeem that is fine, otherwise life will go on,” he explained.
The Portuguese went on to stress, “It is very important that we do not lose our identity. No matter who you play, you have to adapt and take in the coach’s ideas. If I get the opportunity to push up and help the team I will do it, if I am on the pitch, I will give my all.”
He concluded by talking about Eintracht.
“Eintracht are a very strong team, but we are prepared to face them. The most important thing for us is to stay focused on ourselves and our qualities. If we play at our best, I am sure we will bring the result home.”
